Reno, Nevada is located in the middle of some of the most exciting riding in the West! Riding on fantastic, well-maintained roads, you'll experience awesome elevation changes, spectacular scenery, monster sweepers, technical twisties, scenic canyons, and the opportunity to do some WFO desert riding!!!

Lying at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Range, some of the finest riding in the West can be found here, including gorgeous Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, the Black Rock Desert, the Sierra Nevada mountains, Virginia City, ghost towns and more within a few hours of Reno.

A short but amazing and spectacular ride from Reno is the place that started it all, Virginia City, home of the Comstock Lode. You'll need to climb over 3000 feet up winding twisty roads to reach this fun destination. Consisting of many original western buildings, this is a favorite tourist destination, with many fine shops, dollar museums (don't miss the red light museum), and good restaurants. The entire town is known as the largest historical site in Nevada.

And then there's Lake Tahoe, just a short and scenic ride up the mountains to the west. Probably the most beautiful lake in the USA, Tahoe's clear blue waters will enchant you, as will the scenic majesty of the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains.

For the serious Mileage Hounds, within a couple hour's ride are all the riding opportunities of the wonderous Yosemite National Park area, the many passes through the Sierra Nevada, and also many great desert riding opportunities to the east of the mountains.
